The Property
The target project includes not only the proposed construction area but also the surrounding valley and hillside, totalling nearly 8 hectares of green space. This area will be developed into gardens, farmland and a small vineyard. It also has direct access to the Cristo de Rei site.
The design preserves and promotes the unique history and heritage of the property dating back to its 17th century roots. Originally as a maritime fortress against pirates and later as a prosperous wine producing Quinta in the 18th century with unique connections to Irish nobility of the O’Neil clan.The total construction area is over 16,800 sq. meter and the development will consist in total of 90 luxury hotel rooms and 30 branded residences all with riverfront view. This luxury development, including the residences, will be managed by a top international luxury hotel group.
